Skiing week in the Ladin valley of Val di Fassa - Trentino Alto Adige

From well-designed hairpin bends and comfortable valley floors, tunnels and mini-bypasses that avoid passing through towns, reaching Trentino Alto Adige and Val di Fassa is truly convenient!

There are countless itineraries and routes you can explore during your stay, from San Martino di Castrozza and the Valparola Pass through Val di Fassa, Val Gardena, and Alta Badia!

In fact, just before arriving in Bellamonte, you'll find the facilities of the sunny and quiet Alpe Lusia ski area, just a 20-minute drive from the Cima Dodici Hotel. And after passing Predazzo, you'll enter our magnificent valley, Val di Fassa, whose landscapes and uniqueness make it a favorite with all our guests in every season! The views will captivate even the most inattentive gaze, thanks to the rocky faces of the Rosengaarten, Sass Pordoi, and the majestic Marmolada. Our Ladin land is deeply rooted in its traditions and origins. Indeed, you'll notice how signs and placards are often still written in the original language, Ladin.

And even restaurants and pizzerias feature typical Ladin menus and products! We, too, have always loved the combination of modernity and our tradition. In fact, every week we organize themed evenings and events with typical Ladin tasting menus, to introduce our traditions to our hotel guests as well.

To learn more about our origins, we invite you to visit the Ladin de Fascia Museum near our hotel, right here in Vigo di Fassa.

It recounts customs, traditions, habits, and distant origins, as well as the evolution of various productions and arts.

Designed and curated in collaboration with architect Ettore Sottsass, the Ladin de Fascia Museum also houses works by Milo Manara depicting characters from Fassa mythology, such as witches and salvani.

In Pera di Fassa, about 30 minutes from Hotel Cima Dodici, you can visit the old 19th-century mill, complete with two grain mills and a barley polisher.

In Val di Fassa, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige, you'll truly enjoy a few days of relaxation and sport in the Dolomites: our valley awaits you with over 230 km of ski slopes, and it's certainly worth dedicating a day on skis to ski the entire famous Giro dei 4 Passi, also known as the Sellaronda!
